Dr. Faris F. Abusharif is board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician who dedicated his life to helping others. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine Science and practiced medicine for over 20 years.
Dr. Abusharif is a compassionate and skilled physician who is known for his dedication to his patients. He is also a strong advocate for education and opportunity.
Dr. Abusharif ,born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated with a degree in biology. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine Science.
Dr. Abusharif completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pain management at the same institution.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Abusharif joined a pain management practice in Orland Park, Illinois. He also served as a clinical preceptor for third and fourth year medical students at Midwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Abusharif is a member of the American Medical Association, the Illinois State Medical Society, the Chicago Medical Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
